2024-01-01 15:54:48 +0000 UTCI wonder what this is going to end up being about. The Watcher seems to need the sword of Alexander, likely in order to upgrade his trader class above 150 or something. He's obviously trying to ascend at 195 or something. Who is he trying to reach to repair the nebular sword? Some spirit, likely. It would be hilarious if he jumped to Netherworld, and told Salvos "hey, mind fixing the swordy thingy for Daniel, he kinda broke it, thanks?" :) Also, Salvos is in kind of a pickle. She has two grand skills on cooldown, needs to quickly sabotage Regnorex's demon blood siphoning project, but can't yet afford to get into a serious fight, and she's bound to run into someone above level 190. And also she has two very unreliable prisoners in tow, at least one of which will stab her in the back at the first sign of weakness. Also, she never got to slow down and work on improving her magic skills, it's always some crisis after another. I think she could level her class and do much more if only she could afford a few weeks of reading books and practising.

2023-11-27 19:19:04 +0000 UTCMy personal theory until this point was that Vigil was actually a [Changeling] demon, because of how aloof she was the whole time and didnt show much concern/emotion when she was attacked in Mavos. Also when she told Daniel she could fix his magical sword, we know that creation skills are rare, but quite a few demons have them and it appears to be a common skill for them

2023-11-25 01:25:09 +0000 UTCInteresting tidbit in the way Yves compared Daniel to famous heroes, is that he is aware that Mellisa is the greatest Hero ever to be summoned in the Nexus. Unlike pretty much everybody else, as they believe Alexander to be the greatest. (Greatest - as in the most powerful) Well, she ascended at lvl 203, as opposed to Alexander at lvl 195 - and we recently learned the extra condition for evolution / class advancement of lvl 200, that of maxxing out all grand skills (which roughly implies that those that upgrade at higher level have more potential).

2023-11-25 01:23:21 +0000 UTCWe do know that grand skills aren’t all unique as both haec and belphegor have “I shall bear your sins” and we’ve seen several wild primeval demons with the same grand skill. But both having four is a bit odd. Then there is the way that he describes Daniel which sounds very salvos like.I’m really hoping it’s not time travel since that will get messy.

Is this (a) an extreme coincidence, (b) we were wrong about the time axis and Salvos impersonates first Ivonne and then the Watcher or (c) the Watcher was always Salvos from the future? I really hope it's not c! Time travel is extremely annoying and even harder to write in a satisfying way... I hope it's a. Then the Watcher was probably Mori's role model for the partial divinity (grand?) skill, wasn't he?
