She got stuck in the mortal plane, turned hostile people who wanted to kill her into companions who would be ready to die for her. Gave a critically important contribution to winning the war against Regnorex, ascended as a lesser goddess at 150. Is one of probably 3 greatest experts on corruption in all of Nexeus, to the point where Samuel and Belphegor don't really understand how her corrupted title and skills work. Made two 50ky old major gods make up. All that before her 10th birthday. They are literally in a pocket world maintained by her mind, and they saw her make short work of multiple level 180+ demons. And their thinking is "oh, little stupid girl not know need kill enemies, we need to explain it to her". I mean, really??

2023-12-01 09:48:23 +0000 UTCThere's an element of that, but I think it's misplaced. If anything, I'd say that it's a case of 'familiarity breeds contempt', where they seriously underestimate how smart and deep Salvos actually is, just because she wears her heart on her sleeve.

2023-12-01 09:05:09 +0000 UTCI think there's going to be an issue with Salvos introducing a more civilised way of dealing with issues into the Netherworld; and it's not really a Netherworld problem if we have in mind that the first kingdom also had a more civilised "taste", with demons cooperating, working together and fooling around like all other civilised species, but the present-day Netherworld is really a very cruel place split between a dictatorial cult of Regnorex and the wild realms where everybody is just killing each other, with exceptions of isolated groups that act nicely and cooperate. Even Haec obviously has this pattern of un-subtle and violent dealing with "enemies", which is in stark contrast to Salvos who will open a channel of empathy to the enemies, trying to see their point of view and, basically, try to bring them to the light. It's funny how they just seem to have forgotten how she took them all in and treated them with kindness and adopted their mission to resolve things in the Netherworld, and they suddenly treat her as if she were a fool for bringing in the "enemies". Hello, people with collars of Regnorex, some introspection please? Especially Haec, who basically had a transformative experience with that sentient hellhound demon, and adopted "servants of Regnorex" into his team; he should certainly know better than to draw a clear line between "us" and "them". Obviously, there are many unwilling slaves who are with Regnorex because they saw no other choice but death and slavery, and if he wants to accomplish anything, he'll have to learn how to bring them in and provide them with a third option. So, this "attack them immediately, they are enemies" is a sign of a very nasty mentality that will have to go if Netherworld is to have anything resembling a constructive civilisation. Obviously, Salvos spent most of her life with humans and, unwilling as she might be to admit it, she is more human than demon at this point and it's for the better. On the other hand, she would fit with Belphegor and Samuel much better than she would with this "modern generation" of demons who are cruel and quick on the trigger, which indicates that it is the modern demons that need to learn some lessons here. If anything, Salvos with her "worldly affinity", as Samuel would put it, is a higher-order being.
