I was just thinking about the skills Salvos should acquire, and remembered that she has no advanced Appraisal skills. She has Identification, but that's pretty basic. Not only does she not have anything impressive like God's eye, but she doesn't even have Lesser Appraisal. This is very strange for someone as high levelled with Wisdom cranked up so high. She also has very limited defensive skills when her "Eternity" grand skill isn't on; basically a title skill (now Protection of the Corruption) and I guess she can make a flame armour or something, but that's nothing compared to a sevenfold shield of spacetime or fractal shield or something. That's a problem, but for someone as insightful as to level universal language comprehension and be able to talk to horses and fishes, and not to develop some kind of Advanced Appraisal or God's Eye, that's kinda weird.

2024-01-11 12:11:26 +0000 UTCThe fractal shield being a Grand skill doesn't necessarily mean Salvos can't steal it, does it? She could create a non-grand skill with a slightly inferior effect, immitate the effect with [The World of my mind] or aquire the Grand skill itself, right?

2024-01-11 10:49:10 +0000 UTCI think something akin to the five stages of grief should be made for those fighting Salvos - overconfidence, surprise, denial, shock and acceptance. It always starts with "I'm going to kill you now", turns into "you're annoyingly resilient", then it is "this can't be happening", followed by just watching with mouth agape as she tears through you, and the final phase is "oh well, I'm dead, but my big daddy will deal with you, just watch". :)

2024-01-10 08:41:42 +0000 UTCHaec's skill is a serious superpower that can turn the entire economy of force upside-down. Without it, it doesn't matter how big an army you have, because only the most powerful ones can actually do any damage; essentially, Orgaf is right, albeit impolite. However, with this you can channel the power of millions of lesser units and if the collars are neutralised, and if Haec doesn't have some short-duration and cooldown issues with this skill, and if the rebellion truly takes (and it might, considering how many were pointlessly sacrificed by Regnorex and how little was achieved), I see Haec tipping the scales with pure physical power, which is Salvos' major weakness; she can't seem to be able to really hurt powerful targets and relies mostly on skill and brains. Since Regnorex has divinity, corruption will be quite weak against him which makes Salvos really disadvantaged against him, but if Haec provides abundance of ass-kicking, this would work.

2024-01-09 23:53:56 +0000 UTCYeah, it would really be something if she ends up killing Hartia before Haec gets back with his new crew, but I'm pretty sure Haec is going to be given the spotlight during the finale. It would still be interesting to see if he would mull over being "useless" or actually be able to simply take this in stride and move forward with a new plan.
