Haec's GS and Avaritia GS transformation into DK doesn't make their atks at the same lvl as the DK's atks. If the copied skill/aspect is weak, then the resulting skill will also be weak (still using the user prowess as a base, if user is stronger than the copied individual, then the skill will also be stronger than the original).

And anyways, this is not about the Demonking specifically but GS imitating existing creatures overall. The Skill could just as well be [Right hand of Alexander]. But what if Haec becomes stronger than Alexander? The question is, what happens with a Grand Skill the power of which is based on being a copy of a much more powerful creature, when said creature is not more powerful then the user anymore?

He was Heir to the Netherworld and now he is Traitor to the Demon King. Yet he is a whole evolution below the member of the Death Squad - all of which are chosen amongst the powerful Primeval Demons. As a comparison, all Salvos' victories against Primeval Demons when she was an Archdemon, happened with the help of GSs and Divinity. And her build is about slaying more powerful opponents while Haec is more of a protector.

For that matter, shouldn’t the error to the netherworld be strong enough to not need a grand skill to bail him out of trouble? It’s genuinely seemed like he was fucked before he pulled that out.

They are extremely powerful because tehy imitate the Power of teh Demo King. But what would happen if the owner of the Skill becomes just as powerful as the Demon King? Wouldn't that mean that they have a Grand Skill that allows them to punch as hard as someone who is just as powerful as themselves? Won't that make the Skill hillariously useless? I mean, Haec could at least still use the Skill to regenerate his right arm should he ever lose it, but even that can't make up for it...

2023-06-27 19:19:40 +0000 UTCWho said it has to be borrowed power, it could just be a power born from the bonds of the two of them as even when they were separated they still did not give up looking for each other, in their own ways, but I do agree that it shouldn't be just some borrowed power as that won't last in the long term development of Haec's growth.

He already demonstrated his independence from the DK by escaping and from Salvos by refusing to immediately tag along to the Mortal Realm.

2023-06-27 18:56:33 +0000 UTCJust because your a right hand man does not immediately conclude that your a minion, it all depends on the boss/higher up, so even if Haec becomes Salvos' right hand he will still be her companion. It actually makes more sense that Haec will become the Right Hand man of Salvos as he is her first companion and such.

2023-06-27 18:53:09 +0000 UTCRight hand looks like it's a single attack type of gs rather than a sustained aura or domain. It probably has a lower cost and so recharges faster. Especially if it uses faux divine essence instead of the real stuff. Rather than say being invincible for 30min, he's just punching someone really fucking hard.

Counting how much time passes in a set period in the Netherworld is a fruitless exercise. Regardless of what I said above it /does/ seem like Haec's GS has a super short CD anyways, so that makes the Grand Skill already top tier.

Especially since he either didn't have a Grand Skill himself to counter-balance or didn't get one up in time smh. Haec's gorilla punch is honestly hilariously good with such a short down time before it can be used again. Truly top tier just like Salvos' DE.
