2024-03-09 10:44:43 +0000 UTCWell, I think the content itself was actually good. The chapter was just way too short. Although I'm not sure if that can be helped. There are three elements: exploring Salvos' (social) circumstances (this chapter), the class advancement and exploring the new powers. I can imagine three good ways to partition them: 1. everything in one chapter: that means all three of the elements have to be concise 2. circumstances in one chapter, the other 2 elements in the next: this allows for more exploration on each of the elements 3. everything seperately: if there's a twist to the class advancement, that's the way to go. It gives each chapter its own focus and allows for more elaboration and nuance Having said that, I would have liked a bit more details on the opinions of the different parties and Salvos' thoughts on their opinion even if she is in a hurry to get to the class advancement. Also, compared to Kara, Salvos chapters have a much narrower focus and leave a lot more nuance unexplored, resulting in shorter chapters. I hope MelasD can bring a bit of the energy we see in Kara into Salvos as well. I think it can be quite entertaining to have a long chapter on nuaces of any small subject.
