It's possible she got the experience for learning a new skill and for fighting and killing his golden fairies. And maybe experience is granted for merely exerting force and being under fire for a while. I don't know.

Could it be that Hartia lost some levels because of that defeat like Jofis did? Salvos' experience has to come from somewhere, right? Maybe higher level beings are so magical in nature or have so much influence o the system that their mental state noticeably impacts how fast they learn skills, how fast they regenerate (energy) and how the experience is transfered in an encounter. That would mean Reggie might be able to partake in the experience his subordinates gain in some/many circumstances, being taught by a highet being can make you develop faster and fights don't need to end in one side dying for the othet to get xp.

Those guys think Hartia defected. Hartia can kill anyone with a collar. They all wear collars. Here come the finalists for the Darwin award.

Probably some secret or making her absorb is power or something I think he'll die but if she proves herself against him he'll be more than happy to end reggie even if he dies in the process.

But getting a good grasp of her abilities might actually be more important than a few levels. The biggest issue is her grand skills and their cooldown...

2024-07-15 15:51:34 +0000 UTCLet's assume Salvos gets 3 levels from the [Disgraced Batman], 1 or 2 from the [Conceited Slaveprincess], and another level from the rest of that team. That's five levels, and optimistically assuming she's presently at 170, that's 175. Then Manos and his team, let's say 2 more levels, 177 in total. If her lucky star shines, that lvl. 193 [Cerberus of Hell] finally dies from her fire somewhere and she gets the credit, let's say two more levels because I'm feeling generous and she did whack it when she was 150, so 43 levels above her then, 16 now if she's 177. That's 179, and I'm really pushing it. She needs to get 10 more, if my assessment of her comparative strength to Regnorex holds. Timing is going to be crucial, because once Jofis vanishes from the radar, the serious alarms will start going off, and she will need to keep the offensive, strike the others before they had time to do any thinking and planning, because by the time Regnorex gets involved, she needs to level up, max her grand skills, have everything online and hopefully learn more useful stuff, such as that [Fractal Shield] or at least replicating the [Protection of the Corruption] she lost with the title. Her defensive skills essentially amount to her second grand skill at the moment, which is not good, and her offensive skills need to be stronger. Basically, she needs to be close enough to her evolution that she gets it by defeating Regnorex, if this is going the way I assume it's going.

It's not the obvious conclusion to make. The obvious conclusion is that Hartia is dead and Haec killed a million demons in order to level himself up. They don't seem to have the divining skills necessary to see the reality of the situation as they rely on the tablet. Either Rakin managed to send off a warning, or Oracli is casting a vision of some sort. That last one is dangerous since it would give Regnorex a serious strategic advantage.

" - that's actually true, but only if they remain stationary at the former location, which would be really silly, because why even bother removing the collars then, if you're going to stay at a known location? However, those stragglers are a problem; they will need to stay detached from the next location of the main group, and as such will be a prime target. Also, since they are dispersed, they are difficult to defend. And also, if she's to free them, it's going to be a problem since Hartia needs to recover first. Essentially, this is a tactically disadvantageous position, but there's another one: "“Are you sure you wish to go about this alone, Jofis?” Glancing back, Jofis bared his teeth dangerously. “Yes”" That group of two lvl 191 Primevals plus whatever else would probably be beyond what Salvos and Haec can defeat at this point, but Jofis alone, that's doable. Please let it be a hard fight so she can level properly, she's still at 170 at best and she needs to be close to 190 for Regnorex.

2024-07-15 07:50:32 +0000 UTCI think it might be a condition for being the demon king here’s my working theory, I think there are four conditions for becoming the demon king 1 you must have a certain number of demons following you, 2 you need to be a primordial demon, 3 you have to beat the current demon king, and four you need to agree to be de- leveled to a primeval demon if you lose to a challenger to the throne who meets the former conditions mentioned, or regnorex just has an ability to steal or take levels

2024-07-15 07:50:23 +0000 UTCDamn, I didn't think it was possible to de-level someone from Primordial Demonhood into a Primeval. Do demons have a system in place for that? Something like how human priests can reset a class back down to level 10? I have a lotta questions floating around in my head right now. Also great chapter, I'm excited to see how busted Jofis is. Killing a clone of Salvos' in only a few seconds is quite the feat.
