Movie Recommendation: "Late Night with the Devil"
Added 2024-06-08 01:30:35 +0000 UTCWatch this movie last night with the girly friend and it featured the occult from start to finish with shoutouts to Bohemian Grove. In the movie, they didn't say it directly, but basically said it directly, that the late night tv Host sacrificed his wife at Bohemian Grove and it comes full circle. I can't think of any other movie that features Bohemian Grove like they did in this one? If you are into horror movies or occult movies, definitely recommend it.
After this movie was over I made my girly friend watch "Starry Eyes." I figured since we watched a movie about how a TV host got famous why not watch one about how an Actress got famous. And if you want to take it a step further for a 3 movie night hit, "Jennifer's Body" shows you how musicians get famous..... (hint: its all about sacrifice).
We didn't watch Jennifer's body after watching Starry Eyes though, instead we watched "Argylle" which references MK Ultra at one point.

2024-06-08 05:52:16 +0000 UTCI liked it, yeah, the images were good, the way the story was told was good, and in a lot of horror stuff, showing the supernatural comes off cheesy in a way but I like how they did it in this one. And it didn't seem like it was trying to embellish the occult, rather seemed fairly accurate from my understanding of it.
