Texture Work (Sneak Peek)
Added 2021-01-12 16:49:13 +0000 UTCThis post may be very exciting for some and a bit boring for others, but over the last week or so I've been making textures for battlemaps!
I’m always trying to improve, steamline and make the process of creating maps more consistent and making these textures should be a step in the right direction.
In addition to using these myself in order to make maps, once I'm happy with a pack I will be putting them out here on Pateron and the website, which should provide a wonderful base in order for people to put my assets over the top!
The one that has taken the most time so far is the new grass texture that you can see below, the Riverwood Green in the top left, the Witch Red in the top right and Feywild Blue in the bottom left and Garden Green in the bottom right.
The town textures are next with Brown Stone in the top left, Dark Cobble in the top right, Brown Dirt in the bottom left and Hex Road in the bottom right.
Then we have the snowy textures with Deep Snow in the top left, Snow Cobble in the top right and Lake Ice at the bottom.
Finally we have some desert textures, with the Sand Dunes in the top left, Plain Sand in the top right and at the bottom is light dirt.
I still have a few more to do before I start working on battlemaps but when I do, hopefully the process will be much faster!

2021-01-15 16:34:24 +0000 UTCThese look amazing. I'll be using them once they're ready. I'd love to see some indoor textures as well. A simple wood floor, stone floor, etc. Maybe some textures to lay down on top like "muddy footprints", etc?
