the mech has a special place in my heart. i agree with many of the fans that it's out of place, it's a bit janky, especially for a finale, but i think i was like 13 watching this come out week to week and that mech blowing up the military base absolutely wrecked me. i remember the week leading up to the finale, me and my friends were theorizing who might have died or been injured in the ending explosion
