Sandstone outcrops add organic feel
Added 2024-10-31 19:21:13 +0000 UTCThis is the last release of the month, and I love outcrop tiles. They are a great way to make caves feel more organic. Paired with the outcrops from the older sandstone and aggregate sets, you can get a ton of cave variation out of them.
Instructions
Print these tiles in Overture Rock (Fossil) PLA and Overture Rock (Sedimentary) PLA or similar banded filament. I suggest printing many connected walls at the same time for two reasons. 1) The banding changes faster than if you print one at a time, making it easier to see transitions than if you print one at a time. 2) It means that all the sections have the same banding, so they flow well together.
