1. Game Mechanics (< 1 year)

Brief Overview:

The health and status bars will become functional, as well as some additional meters to customize your gaming experience! We will be including the addition of Crafting so you can make gifts for the other game characters, or use them on yourself to alter all the stat bars. Crafting will also make use of the item box. Eventually, Game Mechanics will affect how the Player body looks once the Character creator is fully active. Once this step is complete not only will you be better equipped to handle the tropical environment but you can interact with it as well!

Extended Overview:

Game mechanics is a three step process beginning with the Health system for the Player, before applying the same system to the NPC’s. This governs the physical response of Player and NPCs to stimuli. This is linked to Stats, Relationships and the Player Character Model.

1a. Health System: The health system will be comprised of 6 parts: Health, Stamina, Strength, Charisma, Reputation, Relationships. They can be worked on in any order.


1b. Stats and Effects: After the Health System is implemented, Stats and Effects can be implemented, what follows can be worked on in any order.

1c. Crafting: The third and final phase of implementing the Health system is Crafting.

 Make jewelry, food, gifts, and unique items for trade or self use.

This is going to make the game a lot more complex. Which makes it interesting. And of course I love the new Rio art. The idea of making items for yourself and others is a great idea. A good way to woe and impress your favs.
