My mother and I had a pretty bad relationship when I was a child, and this lasted all through college. It was when I forgave my mother, that we had some form of a family relationship. My mother goes through these stages where I have to cut her off for a while. This past mother’s day, my mother posted on social media that I neglected to call her on that day, when she knows I don’t celebrate holidays, only days of birth. I don’t have social media, but some family members and my girlfriend told me about the post. I have said nothing about it to her, but I also didn’t call her for two months until she called me. My mother also used to talk down to me like this lady did when I was a child, and she also lied to me as well. I love my mother, and I forgave her, but I feed her with a long handle spoon. I do what is required as a son, and nothing more, so I can definitely relate to what this brotha has or is going through with his mother. Peace.

All praise to the Most High that I have a mother who raised me correctly. Even the two ladies behind this man’s mother in the courtroom (the so-called black woman to the left with the blonde highlights in her weave & the Arab looking female with the mustard yellow top) were giving her the side eye numerous times while she spoke. 🤣🤣
