The Nets have turned this shit around thanks to Jacque Vaughn. I think they could go to the ECF this year if they can avoid the Celtics in the first two rounds.

This Nate that coaches don’t make “adjustments” is silly. We see people throw that out whenever a coach seems to struggle. Nash definitely makes adjustments. What it comes down to is sometimes, you’re playing players/teams that adjust to your adjustments.
The Nets have a few issues. The first is that they don’t have a collective identity as a franchise. They are not a committed defensive unit at all. Their top two players are flighty to say the least and neither is a leader on court. They play the game as individuals who are supremely gifted in isolation ball. They are not a committed unit offensively and that translates to the defense.
The Nets franchise is boarder line not even an established organization. There is not “head of the snake” only two supremely talented iso players who retreat to iso ball when they play better teams.
GS is a franchise with an identity and collective ideology of elite defense and team ball and they also have the talent. Same with all great defensive teams.
Brooklyn will only work if say a Pat Riley type of leader comes in and establishes the cultural expectations of the franchise. Otherwise you have the nets who have players who want an organization that runs like a socialist utopia at the top but when it comes to their own expectations, the Star players want to dominate the decision making.
