Neither shot particularly well but they both crashed the boards and got pivotal rebounds. To say Artest saved Kobe is an exaggeration, especially when Kobe had more points and had 15 rebounds. (2nd to Gasol's 18) This is when intangibles kick in & all-time greats affect the game in different ways. That's like saying Havlicheck, Sam Jones, etc. save Russell in 1969 game 7 of the finals. When you look at the footage online, you can clearly see Russell was the engine without scoring. Kobe motivated his team and put work in equally.

But to say Kobe ain’t much better, because according to u him and Shaq played against the weakest comp isn’t fair or accurate. U can’t only play gets to the finals. Duncan played against that same Nets team and against a Cavs team that wasn’t great. So the same could be said for him. Also that scrub knicks team. Also liked how u skipped over Kobe Magic finals and went to Ron saving Kobe. Ron jump ship after kobe sent him packing a year before and put up Mj #s vs Mavs.
