January Brainstorming: A New Year, a Fresh Start

For now, I would like to start the brainstorming for the January story! The theme is very broad: a fresh start. It could be a new relationship, ending a bad one, a new job, a new car, meeting someone new, trying something new. It can be characters from my stories or original characters. It can be contemporary, fantasy, or science fiction.
