"Strange Romances" for February Brainstorming

That might make you think of monsters and maidens, and that's fine, but it can be much broader than that. It could be an alien and a human, a nerd and a jock, a robot and a human, even taboo romances like a doctor and a patient or a master in ancient or fantasy setting falling for a slave. Any unusual or uneven pairing can work.
The one thing this can't be is cruel or one-sided. This is LOVE! Mutual and wonderful no matter how strange!
If you can use a character from one of my books that is great, but I'm fine with doing an original character too! Not sure I will have this one ready for Valentine's Day but we will celebrate it later in the month if need be.
