It's the end of the world, the universe, the galaxy, a self-destructing spaceship, the last day of a doomed planet, etc. It can be fantasy or science fiction or even our real world. The rapture, nuclear war, a big asteroid, or evil aliens. It could be original characters or my characters.
Are the characters scrambling to survive somehow, accepting their fates and having one last good time, or disbelieving reality until the last possible moment?
