Vault: Village Awry Adventurers

There are a lot of characters in those two chapters I just posted—we needed a lot of potential victims! They do split up (there are no scenes where they're all in the same room talking to one another), but they can get hard to track anyways. So here's a handy behind-the-scenes reference I scribbled out while writing these stories, so I wouldn't forget nothin'!

I put the characters who've been important so far at the top—the rest haven't really had any scenes yet.

Lerro: The leader of the team, because he said so. Lerro is cocky and cocksure. He means well, but he's just not that bright, and he makes bad calls. Argues with Rand a lot. Very handsome. Fights with a halberd. Kind of crushing on Dynia. "Alright, guys, I think we've got a plan now..."

Rand: The "professional adventurer" of the team. Rand is arrogant, but in a quiet, sullen way. He prides himself on being prepared for everything, and berates other members for their spending choices. He's also a diehard objectivist. Hates it when poor people become adventurers. Tries not to fight, but does own several daggers. "You only bought one length of rope? Have fun dying."

Ambrosia: A noblewoman enchantress who ran afoul of a few fellow mindweavers and is looking to travel with a heavily-armed group until the heat goes down. Still struggling to get rid of all her triggers. Friendly to everyone, but secretly hates everyone. Wants to brainwash Corvid and Lerro, sees herself as straight but secretly lusts after Dynia. "Come now, darlings, there's no need to squabble so..."

Naiid: A helplessly horny druidess known to be infected with nymph juices. Wants to fuck everything she meets, including her teammates (who all know her problem, thanks to Dynia). Hates Dynia, still wants to fuck her. Pretends to be dumb and loving. Secretly is kind of dumb, but also mean. "You're soooo smart, Dynia. I wish I could be... mm... smart an' sexy like you...  oh, fuck, here, lemme help you with your top... heehee! No squirmin', now..."

Thrush: A canny little thief/rogue on the run from the law. Thrush comes from the same city as Okino's gang, and is deathly afraid of wasps. She's also the smart one of the team. Mostly only talks to Arius. She doesn't like him, but wants to be his friend because he'll keep her safe. Extremely unlucky, but she'll likely make it to the end. "I hope we don't run into any fey on this visit."

Dynia: A gorgeous dopterine illusionist stricken by constant fear and nerves. Has to be prompted to do anything. Stays by Draem at all times. She knows everyone wants to bang her. Fights with illusions and a very sharp knife. "Um, I'm sorry. I'll stay out of your way. Sorry."

Corvid: A paranoid mage specializing in physical wards. Second-guesses everything. Arguably a better adventurer than Rand. "I'm, um, not gonna do that. Can anyone else do that?"

Marielle: A flighty elven sorceress specializing in wind magic. Arrogant and bigoted, but conceals it underneath a coquettish manner. Hates Thrush, attaches herself to Lerro. "Ooh, do you think we'll be safe? Maybe Thrush should check it out? *giggles*"

Arius: The group's "badass", a well-armored fighting machine with more weapons than you can count. Highly aggressive. Kinda an ass. Kinda lusts after everyone. "Do you think I'm afraid of someone wearing <i>that</I> little armor? I could cut her in half as soon as look at her!"

Markus: An enthusiastic warrior kicked out of the Rangers fDor having a problem with authority. Parties hard. Dresses for style. Fights with a spiked chain. Lusts after Marielle. "Hell yeah! Let's go kick some ass!"

Westers: The group's trapsmith. Clever, in a dumb way. Arrogant about his craft, but a major brown-noser. Lusts after Dynia. Pushes around Corvid and Thrush at every opportunity. Fights with a crossbow that he constantly tinkers with; thinks he's a genius. "Ehe! That's a great idea, Lerro! Don't listen to Thrush; she's just a bellyacher!"

Danar: Seasoned warrior for the Rift Rangers, suspects demonic activity. Danar is cautious and sensible, and hates just about everyone on the team (and rightly so). Danar is a decent man, but his compassionate spirit makes him an easy mark, and he knows it. Fights with a bow and swords. "Careful, there, Westers. Something feels... off."

Verdel: A pyromancer and major "loose cannon". Disobeys for the fun of it. Likes to pick on Danar. Lusts after Dynia. "Ahaha! Live a little, you fucking wimps!"

Mek: The 'creepy one' of the group. A warrior who enjoys battle a little too much. Likes to pick on Dynia. Giggles a lot. Fights with a sword. Strong-willed, but not as strong as he thinks. "Heehee. Sure would be a shame if anyone got hurt, no? Hee."

Draem: A musclebound brawler. Dumb, in a clever way. Doesn't respect weaklings, but does patronizingly try to protect them. Lusts after Dynia.
