Vault: The Alrek/Larya Timeline
Added 2017-08-06 08:45:04 +0000 UTCPeople are always asking me about the proper order in which to read my stories, and the answer is: Whatever order you like! It's meant to be comprehensible from any direction. That said, I thought I'd at least clarify the order of events for you all. Enjoy!
Note: Not all of the events listed below have yet been written. Likewise, not all the events not listed below are necessarily never going to be written.
Note x2: I also know I need to add some stories to this list—like The Flower Girl and Labyrinth of Lights. It's a bit out of date!

Everything began in early summer, in the 116th Year Before (no one is exactly certain what they are counting down to, but the seers insist on it, and arguing with seers is a real great way to waste your day). Of course, neither Snatch nor Larya are precisely aware of the dates involved; most people don't lug calendars around with them wherever they go. For the sake of simplicity, we will just track by weeks. There are roughly forty weeks in a year in the Cloistered Lands, as their years are slightly shorter.
Week One (Y116; Summer): Shifty Characters. Larya is teleported by a succubus into the Greatest, Darkest Forest. She meets Snatch and Balabar, who are hunting a rogue doppelganger.
Week Two: Wicked Amusement. Snatch and Larya travel to Celestia. Along the way, they meet Alma, a Spirit Ranger with a dangerous secret.
Week Three: Wicked Amusement. Snatch and Larya reach the town, and are quickly wrapped up into an elven crime family's intrigue and scheming, commanded to help catch a muse sprite.
Week Four: Wicked Amusement. Snatch and Larya return to Mier and Swish. Lim helps to unlock Larya, putting her on the course to become a true druid. She and Snatch decide to head to the standing Stones.

Week Six: See the Sights. Alrek is targeted by Illetrys, who's put a bounty on him.
Week Seven: Snatch and Larya arrive at the Standing Stones. Things happen there.
Week Nine: The Kissing Bargain + The Bimbo Ballet. Snatch and Larya and Lim head to the Emerald Forest, on a task given them by the druids.

Week Twelve: Snatch and Larya enter the Misty Lounge. Swish and Mier meet Mirea.
Week Thirteen: Snatch and Larya return to the Standing Stones, task completed.

Week Twenty-Five (Winter): Snatch and Larya meet Jiryss, as well as an Oneiromancer who caters to a group of dream addicts.

Week Twenty-Seven: With Silver Bells. Snatch and Larya venture out to the Mountains and meet the Mad Succubus, Coscin, and Limini.

Week Ninety-Three: Evergreen Forest. Snatch attempts to pass through the Evergreen Forest.*

*The events of Exposed, a story I badly need to edit that has little to do with Larya and Snatch, take place around now.
