In the moddle of my travels with family and just finished an unforgettable visit to Northern Scotland, and I’m still buzzing with inspiration. Exploring places like Clara Cairns and the Fairy Glen—sites that are thousands of years old—was nothing short of magical. These places aren’t just beautiful landscapes; they are deeply sacred spaces, holding the spiritual memory of our common European ancestors.

What struck me most is how ancient these sites are—far older than any known Germanic holy place. They hint at a shared European spirituality rooted in the land itself. And the Norse would have encountered these places too, having settled in this region heavily. I believe these ancient Celtic sites can help uncover beliefs and rituals that we all once shared, long before the proto-cultures that we admire at a time when the religion and connection to nature was at its most pure.

This experience has sparked a deep interest in exploring the Celtic religion more seriously. I also met one of our long time members here in Inverness!

I'm hoping to organize a gathering and ritual in this region next year, to walk the land together, learn from it, and reconnect with its spirit. If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, let me know in the comments!

It makes me sad that so many people hesitate to travel to these places and miss out because of financial reasons. And recently this is something I have come to realize that traveling on the lowest budget is something that I am a lifetime expert in. My plan is to grow the Norseretreats.com business and organize trips at a great price for those who want.
