Moving Forward

Hey guys. Been a while, I know. 

Where did I go? Well, I'll try to keep it brief:

I reached a point in my work where I was no longer motivated to continue. The pressure of explaining myself and making more empty promises kept me silent, for a lot longer than I expected. When I first conceptualized "Strains", I was still in the mindset of creating a muscle focused game, and so I continued down that path. In reality I just wanted to tell a story, and creating an entire AAA action game to do so wasn't the smartest option for a lone dev. But I wanted to please the people that had supported me thus far, so I gave it a shot. I know now that it would probably take over a decade to achieve such a vision, and I'm just not about that. Instead I want to explore other, less demanding mediums for the "Strains" IP.

Now what?

Well, I'm certainly not about to let all the code I wrote and experience I gained go to waste. And I still want to deliver on our dream of a well-made muscle focused game being a thing that exists. So I spent a lot of my time in isolation designing an IP that would build on top of everything I'd done up until this point, and that would benefit from being a video game. The primary goal of course was to make sure it was feasible for me to create this on my own, and I am confident that it is.


Okay, so here are the two projects I will be dedicating myself to for the foreseeable future:


Biomancer - A story of love, pain, and self indulgence - set in the Strains universe. The narrative focuses on "Dizzi", the character you've probably seen me posting everywhere. It follows their journey of training to become a "Myonaut", and the struggles with womanhood, self identity, and family (oh and boys ofc) that they face along the way. I'll be keeping info on this one close to the chest, so don't expect many updates about how it's doing. I'm currently exploring cg animation for it, but if that doesn't work out, I may go the route of creating a comic.


Bulk Out! - A video game about an extremely popular fictional game show, which is "filmed" in Miami, FL, and airs across the globe. The vibe is all about fun, self expression, sex appeal, and getting yolked. The show is owned by a supplement corporation, and is essentially one big advertisement used to sell their miracle muscle mass building products. The concept of the game is this: You play as a contestant on the show. Your goal is to get buff through enhanced (unrealistically fast) methods, and then complete challenges that take advantage of this buffness. If you do this efficiently, and better than any opponents you may encounter, you win. What do you win? Fame... bragging rights, oh and cash. Lots of cash.

And that's it. That's all the game will be about. At least until I have a solid base to work with. It's essentially taking everything from the previous "demos" I've created, adding a lot more to it, and (hopefully) making something fun out of it (while still remaining horny af).


For now though, I want to focus on "Biomancer", as it is very important to me personally. I'm currently attempting to create a very short cg animation for it, in order to gauge the quality of work I can do alone. After that it'll be back to business, with "Bulk Out!" becoming my primary focus again. As you can see I've already done quite a bit of work on the game, sadly it's not enough to give you anything hands on. But that will be my main objective once I return to it.

First of all, I'm just glad you're alive, lol. The real tragedy would have been you disappearing forever. I'm also glad that the scope of things has been altered to something you feel confident in doing. It's good to hear you being open about this. I'm looking forward to new future content! I missed seeing new demos and updates.
