iT IS REALLY HOT OUT THERE. I hope you're staying hydrated and getting in the water. July was a good month and I'm ready to start August! My birthday is on August 8th and I'm pretty excited.

One last thing. I know that art is all about process -- turning a black canvas into something beautiful. I was thinking about making process videos but I am not sure how to go about it. I have Windows 10 and PaintTool SAI. Any suggestions?

Theme & Fanart Hunk Poll This month, we have a pretty exciting lineup for the King of the Jungle monthly artwork theme as well as Fanart Hunks.

King of the Jungle Monthly Theme:

Fanart Hunks:
Wow! We almost had a three way tie this month! It looks like Toothless (with teeth XD) won, followed by Lion from Steven Universe. Dulse & Poipole were popular too. Better luck next time, Champa! As mentioned earlier, I likely will also feature Knuckles this month if I have time. For future polls, I would love if you suggested some more fanart ideas.

Ask the SXF Crew
Each month I will be collecting asks and the character of your choice will answer. I am still in the process of building a visual roster with short blurbs about each character you can choose from.
