September Newsletter

Fall is right around the corner fortunately and unfortunately. Where I am it means I am probably going to be cold BUT I know some of you guys would oblige to be a blanket so that will help -w-. Not much is new with me aside from having a new, amazing boyfriend, Seb the Big Cat. And I'm pretty pumped for some video game titles coming out in the next few months also including Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokémon Let's Go, Forza Horizon 4, etc. If you're a gamer, let's connect :3

Anyways, here's the good news: I will not be pausing my Patreon during September as I mentioned earlier since I have come up with a new structure that will help: (1) reduce pressure, (2) aide my artistic growth, and (3) allow me to draw some of my characters that I know some of you love. The bad news is that I am not doing monthly colored sketches anymore (sorry and thank to the former Kings who have remained pledged after this change). Accompanying this change, there will be new things to come including personal art polls and theme poll which may be used in future themed streams. The fanart polls with continue. The new God of Destruction tier will get a monthly colored sketch (one GoD per month) as well as suggestions/requests for my O.C.s.

My biggest announcement though is that this will be the month that I will start comics! I will be posting low res, black and white version of these comics but Kings of the Jungle will get these comics in full resolution and color.

Theme & Fanart Hunk Poll

This month, the winds of change are brewing. The theme poll will no longer be used for Kings of the Jungle monthlies but instead for themed streams which I hope to host once a month.

Theme: I am thinking the best way to approach this is to host themed streams once a month. These streams will involve the sales of discounted sketches and colored sketches. September theme poll will be posted soon.

Fanart Hunks: So this month, there will be no poll as I will be catching up by drawing Champa and Dulse & Poipole! King K. Rool will also make an appearance. For future polls, I would love if you suggested some more fanart ideas which can now be done by NineLife Knights and bigger cats.

Personal Art: I will host these occasionally to determine the order of OC requests as well as comics. These will be less common but stay tuned.

OC Requests & Artwork
Gods of Destruction
While I have removed the asks program, Gods of Destruction have the ability to requests of my characters as well as have the opportunity for a colored sketch.

OC REQUESTS!
OC Requests also can include asking my characters questions if you wish. I'll take as many as I can each month (maybe 3 to 5? But they will be full picture which is different from the asks program). I will get a roster together eventually. Sorry, it's taking so long.

Colored Sketches
While everyone in the old King of the Jungle tier received monthly colored sketches, God to Destruction tier is a bit different in that I will select one GoD to get a colored sketch per month! Currently, I am doing one colored sketch. At 10 GoDs, I will do 2; at 20, 3; 30, 4; etc. They will look like so:

I hope you guys are as excited as I am about these changes. While I am not offering monthly sketches anymore and making less money on lower priced tiers, a $20 top tier price point as well as a intermediate $3 tier may also attract more patrons. Plus, I think that my passion for my characters will be reignited. I mean who doesn't love my beefcake tiger, Chase, for example?
