This is a comic I did of young Coach and Terry but it was before I knew what time period they grew up in so their clothes are a little bit too ahead of the times.
Coach tends to be very blunt and rude automatically, he can't help blurting what's on his mind and he doesn't really mean to come off that way. Terry meanwhile has thick skin and a heart of gold, so Coach's accidental insults don't really bother her. In fact she's very good at sassing him back, which is something he's not used to from people as he's usually accustomed to people being mad at him and is always pushing people away because of it.
