I Used to Be With 'It'

I'm trying not to talk a whole lot about the things that I want to do because god. It's true what they say about the serotonin hit you get from discussing things. It feels exactly the same as if you'd done the thing, so I might as well just do the thing and save the satisfaction for actually revealing it to people. But I also want to get those things to somewhat overlap with what people who like my work might wanna see from me in the future, near or far.

This could just be illustrations, but it could also be prints, standees, charms, stickers, sculpts, whatever. It could be SFW or NSFW. Nothing is set in stone. I'm just trying desperately to feel any sort of creative spark right now because I've way overdone it on boss rushes* just to try and keep a roof over my head and I have got to pull myself out of this.

That said:

You already know my OCs, Thiira & Vin. And Cayenne (the devil girl) to a lesser extent. I need to expand my stable but being creative is hard when you have an inner critic with a fat fucking mouth.

You know I love Allura and Sendak, so seeing them again, together or individually, is a given.

This is a teeny-tiny list that I'm just skimming off the very top of my brain so it's not comprehensive by any stretch of the imagination. I've played and seen a lot of stuff, but if you've listened to Come Hang Out by AJR recently you know how the fuck that all goes. I'm trying really hard to remember things but it's coming back to me super slowly.

This is nothing as formal as a poll or anything, but I wanna know what you all are into that I haven't mentioned here. What are the kids up to these days, as it were. Let me know in the comments. It might not cross streams with my immediate interests, but I don't mind getting some recommendations, either.

I guess I just wish I liked doing fanart more. I'll watch a thing to death but I don't necessarily want to draw it, and I don't know what the hell compels me with one thing but not another.

*Thank you for sticking around for the boss & bust rushes. I know it can be a lot when all I seem to post for a long stretch is a bunch of b&w work that doesn't necessarily speak to what I truly in my heart of hearts love to do, but holy shit I'm grateful for you.

**I've never taken the temperature of the room in terms of calling people 'nerd' but know that I mean it in the best way possible. Hopefully this is obvious, but I can never know for sure and my paranoia over insulting people by accident knows no fucking bounds whatsoever.
