her mom, Lisa...is a crime boss...
her dad was one also.
her ex-lover is her mom's top enforcer...
and Ann is stationed...right where her Mom's cartel operates.
luckily the territory sheriff's dept deal with most cartel issues...the troopers patrol a big range...and work alone a lot. they usually hunt bigger game...scum like intergalactic terrorist BOT....escaped felons... Galactic threats...along with the S.P.A.I.C. agency. Lots of worlds use SPAIC to deal with ever growing threats...like the Plin Empire(which keeps expanding) Clor's vampire collective(who make no secret they wish to enslave humanity) The expanding Crasher agency(full of scum looking for conquests)
And other scum looking to terrorize and destroy.
Muto territory used to belong to the Pate Empire. Pate lost it to Lugnor during the two worlds three year war with each other...the territory has a large Pate population...who have a huge anti-lugnorian sentiment...so The Trooper corps aren't well liked in the territory.
