Her weapons dealing ,and fight slave trading, are all legit businesses...shes a cartel member ,because being in the cartel gets her more clients..and the cartel...just its name...is feared. Terry gets their protection by being a member.
My books all interconnect in some way. Terry is also in Tales of Lugnor...as well as Lisa...Lisa, is the the HEAD of the Cartel. I hope folks who read Sleeker will want to check its connecting books ...but you don't need to read Tales of Lugnor to get the whole story. each book stands on its own.
