This is a shoot with amazing Alyona Panevina. She is one of the successful female photographers in the nude portrait genre in Ukraine. At least I think so)

We have been following each other for a long time, but we never planned a shoot because Alyona lives in Dnipro and she is very rarely in Kyiv. But it just so happened that I was also in Kyiv and she came for a couple of days, and we both had free time... so we finally decided to shoot together)

And so it really is ice... not plastic, not glass... it's ice. I have repeatedly seen how Marta Syrko films in her studio in Lviv with ice... Here you may see BTS from her shoots with ice. And here in Kyiv this summer, in one of the studios, such an option as shooting with ice appeared. Alyona and I decided that we should try. We didn't know how it would all happen, whether something worthwhile would come out... but we decided to experiment. And that's what happened

The piece of ice actually turned out to be much smaller than we expected. And since it was quite warm in the studio, this bar melted quite quickly. Because of that, it constantly changed its pattern, which is really cool. You see what we got)

When Alyona showed me the frames, I started to think how I would take self-portraits with ice...Would I be able to reveal this idea in a deeper or more interesting way? i'm not sure
