Added 2024-10-10 09:07:46 +0000 UTCI'll start by saying that this spring self-portrait shoot was completely accidental. But seeing the dark cloudy sky and these purple wildflowers, I couldn't help myself. I didn't have much time to get at least a couple of shots. And as you can see, I ended up converting more than half of the frames into black and white. I left it in color so that you could see this beauty of colors .... but black and white captured my heart for a long time. And most of my photos are now monochrome. But it is as it is)
By the way, because of these shots, in the village where my parents live, rumors spread that I was running around the fields nude π
So ... Now I am in Warsaw waiting for my visa to Japan. I have to be here for a little more than two weeks. And this is probably the first time in two years that I stayed in another country, alone, for such a long time. I was constantly in the company of other people or I was alone, but for a couple of days at most...I didn't even have time to unpack my suitcase. But now I am here for two weeks, in the apartment in which I live alone without any neighbors, where I put my clothes in the warderobe, where I have a week's supply of food in the refrigerator, I bought candles - because I really like to burn them in the evening, and put in vases fresh flowers .....I did everything to do first of all as if I were at home.
Poland actually plays its role in this. Portugal, Spain, France, Italy - I stayed there for a week, but I didn't get the same feelings. Yes, Warsaw is close due to the similarity of architecture with Ukrainian, the food is tasty and familiar to me just like in Ukraine, you often hear Ukrainian and Russian around, what can I say that Poles are also quite easy to understand and easy to communicate with even when everyone speaks their own language. ...and the climate - here the leaves are already turning yellow and it's getting real autumn cool. Everything is so, what I am so used to. And I feel so so so good here)
I have to learn to adapt in other countries too) Life is beautiful not only in Eastern Europe)
P.S. By the way, what do you think works better with this photos- colour or b&w?

But color has some advantages, for example the tone of your skin always makes a great contrast/partner to whatever landscape or setting you are in. Just a thought to consider. π

2024-10-10 17:49:39 +0000 UTCI think that they look much better in colour, because of the flowers. Your beauty blends in nicely with the scenery, with the delicate flowers, in the colour photos. To me, the flowers lose their beauty in the b&w photos. But, if you want yourself to stand out more in the photos, then i think b&w is the better choice.

Anyway, it's funny what you told about those rumours hahaha... Do your relatives or parents know about your nude photography, or did they know it from these rumours? π
