I will immediately ask a question - are you interested in seeing my attempts to shoot male nudes?
This is probably the first such conscious shooting of a man. I already filmed Alex once. We took self-portraits together in the pool. But then it was something more spontaneous, more aimed at self-portraits and I did not focus on the male body at all.
This time in Berlin - I did dare. It was not as difficult as I imagined - especially since Alex (my muse) is my friend (we once worked together in the same photo studio for a long time). And what I want to say is that I am very satisfied with the result of the first such shooting. I also shot a little on medium format film - I messed up the focus a bit, there were some blurry shots - but overall I gained experience.
For the first time, I felt confident when filming a man and was not ashamed to communicate with him during the filming. Now I feel more strength and a greater desire for such shootings) And by the way, in Kyiv at the beginning of September, I already shot another one - with another friend of mine (for now, I offer shootings only to them). And there I am also very satisfied with the result.

But you are right - he is a bit feminine (and not only on my pictures). But i got you. Interesting what you will say for my second shoot with another guy

2024-10-15 12:21:41 +0000 UTCWell, since this is your first test it's not bad, good job.! I'd suggest not to try the same kind of poses as when the subject is a woman: try something different. Even when choosing the model, it seems like you were selecting one with a body that was as "feminine" as possible (hope not to offend anybody). In other words, it looks like you are trying to repeat what you are doing while shooting women, but I think you should try to do something totally different while shooting men.
