CRAZIEST VILLAIN EVER! But a villain that I actually like. Rest in peace Heath Ledger.

MINI REVIEW: Wow, I was really impressed with this movie too and also, the plot twist at the end really makes this movie stand out and highlights the themes of morality, justice and humanity that were also themes that were explored in the first film, Batman Begins. However, in this film, the stakes were definitely a lot higher with the Joker being the crazy malevolent genius that he is...

It was quite terrifying how the Joker was able to outsmart not only the cops but also Batman a few times and it was tragic when Rachel died and Harvey receiving a permanent two-face scar that ultimately corrupted his mind so badly that he was almost willing to take a whole family out just for the sake of revenge...

That ending really disturbed me when Harvey did that and I don't agree with him targeting Gordon's clearly innocent family like that, those kids and the wife are going to be traumatised for life. To think the Joker managed to make Gotham's white knight into a morally corrupt and confused man is actually terrifying. But thanks to Batman, at least the Joker got defeated in the end...despite it not being a total win.

Lastly, there were lots of incredible actors in this and I like how it ended because usually, the good guy always wins therefore, even though I obviously want Batman to defeat the Joker, it was more interesting that the Joker was able to destroy the integrity at least of Harvey who was considered as a hero and that affecting how people perceive Batman as someone who wasn't doing enough to fight the crimes of Gotham. I wonder where the story goes from here now...

Definitely consider this one of the best movies ever :)
