An Example of My New Animation Techniques
Added 2016-09-05 13:24:57 +0000 UTCI’ve been doing tons of research on animation techniques that I want to start incorporating. So far, I’ve had some success. In this short opening scene for my next animation, I used some new techniques on the bird. As you can see, it’s much better than my usual stuff. It was done completely from imagination (I used to bird watch when I was a kid) and took a few days from initial drawing to final animation. Also, the man was layered and rigged completely differently than characters I usually make. This will be noticeable in certain details, better eyes, way better mouth animations with twelve different mouth shapes for talking (I used to use mainly four), better hand movement, and better efficiency when animating (hopefully).
This sneak preview (not a paid post) will be deleted when the main animation comes out. It is yet another idea I haven’t told anyone about. I put my other stuff on hold, because I was more excited about this one. It’s a science fiction short that uses some recent events and science facts to tell a fictional story about an extraterrestrial visit to earth. I hope you’ll like it. It’s another serious one. I’m not sure why I’ve been steering away from comedy lately. I like doing comedy. Hopefully something will inspire me to get back into comedy soon. Otherwise, it’ll be more serious stuff. That might not be such a bad thing either. The serious stuff does well too.
