Starts Normal, Ends with Chaos

Animation difficulty is based on how much things change. So, if there's a lot of different scenery and people, that's a lot of work. This animation is turning out to have an unexpectedly high workload, because it's mostly one setting and five characters, but the work comes from the fact that this scene will go through several stages of chaos, so each character has different versions as things get worse, and each of those versions is like a new character, and different angles must be drawn for different camera positions. I drew each person six different ways, for a total of thirty people drawn. The room will get worse too, being part of the story, so that's like a sixth character.

I love comedy that starts normal, makes you wonder where it's going, but then it gets a little ridiculous, and you get the premise, and you think it's funny, but then it gets more ridiculous, and then even more, and eventually goes soooooo far into places you wouldn't have expected. That's what I want to do here; unfortunately that's a difficult thing to do with animation, because of the drastic changes that happen. These people start as sort of a stereotypical Stepford 1950s family, but by the end... well if you haven't read the script yet, then I won't spoil it.
