Which Game Should We Cover Next On The Podcast?

While I'm glad Xenogears as it's an excuse for me to play it I'd be lying if I said getting emulation to work wasn't a bear for this game.

Damn, I finally am in a situation where I can give to the channel and I was really hoping FFX could pull through. I haven't played "Xenogears" yet lol. Looks like I may have to play it very soon haha.

After watching the ff8 series i became really enamored by the deep, deep analysis of these final fantasy games that I've played dozens of times in the past. Even if ff6 doesn't win this time, I sincerely hope it can be covered by you guys at some point in the future.

Stars have aligned well. I had planned earlier this year to pull through with my first Xenogears playthrough sometime in July or August. To be able to playthrough an iconic game while having the opportunity to analyze it with you guys and everyone here is quite exciting!

yeah, people associate RA with FF, but seeing how well xenogears is doing, i'd love for them to include a wildcard option for every podcast vote...stuff like seiken denstsu 3 (i know they love that one), secret of evermore (interesting for being square's one classic era game developed by their US team, but going for JRPG feel), etc etc

I've played FFX to death, never played Xenogears but loved your previous retrospectives. I'd love you guys to cover some of the lesser known RPGs that Square produced in the SNES era like Treasure of the Rudras.

FF6 is my favourite game of all time. Despite being as beloved as it is, I do feel that it doesn't always get the recognition it deserves for its storytelling (which was leaps and bounds above previous entries in the series). There are some truly wonderful storytelling moments in the game that was even more amazing when you consider it came out in 1994. That being said, Xenogears has a fascinating story, so a discussion on it would be great as well.

Unfortunately no. Although it looks like there may be a Vita version as well. If only I can find my Vita now, have not seen or even looked for it since I moved 5 years ago.

Any chance you have a PS3? It's available on PSN for $10.

As much as I love ffx I think xenogears is the reason I even found this channel.

All great games to choose (though Xenogears has never been available in Europe).

As someone who recently discovered RA and was hoping to play the games along side them, I’m rooting against Xenogears. It’s not because it’s a bad game, but it is impossible to get a hold of for a fair price. Emulating a ROM is not the answer either.

It’s a hard decision between Xenogears and FFVI…
