Thanks for the comment! We haven't played SaGa Frontier 2, so I don't know if we can give a very good answer to this. I just a quick search on the game though, and yes, IT LOOKS REALLY GOOD. That's my kind of visual style for JRPGS!

I haven't played FFXV since it came out, so my thoughts haven't really changed, but I never considered it a horrible game or anything. I think it's average--but felt disappointed because of how strong it could have been. So much story potential that was poorly executed. It's not a bad game though. I like it way better than FF13.

It's been really fun to see how much passion Sakaguchi has found in FFXIV. He's occasionally been asked to do public appearances to promote FF games--famously with FF15--but I could tell he wasn't actually happy with the direction the series was going in. This is genuine. This is real. It's cool to see. I could absolutely see him colaborating for future FFXIV content. As for me, I am NOT an MMO guy, and every time I have tried to pick FFXIV up I have quit pretty early on. It will take a lot to convince me to play it all the way through to the end, but I will try again!

Which battle systems are your favorite from the Final Fantasy franchise? Or JRPGs in general? And how do you feel about games that try to mix RPG battle systems with other genres, such as action games in FF7R, Tales of Arise, even Ni No Kuni 2? Are there specific genres you think could mesh well with RPG mechanics?

Do you guys reckon someone's personality is enriched more by their solitary pursuits (such as reading, playing video games, exercising) or socialising (whether in team sports, classes, at the pub)? Or at least, what has been most important for your personal development?

Do you know any platforms for good online courses which could help me finish my fantasy story?

First a comment! I love this podcast, I have been listening since the dark pixel days and the new longterm format is amazing. I have a question regarding Saga Frontier 2, a game I purchased due to its graphics. Hand painted water colors and subtle line art. However, the story was a bit haphazard and confusing, and I would love e re-release like its predecessor just got that fixes those issues. My question is if you guys have played it, what your thoughts are on the game and its stellar graphics? Best regards from Sweden

I can't tell if you're joking or not, but Mike has completely lost interest in the game (and its future) due to the story changes. I feel the same way really, so I think it'd be best that we just let him and Casen move on.

Its been quite some time but had your guys opinion on ff15 changed at all? I consider a top game for me if only for my attachment to the characters. Love to hear your thoughts

Hey Mike and Casen! Hope you guys are doing well. Recently Sakaguchi completed all of FFXIV’s main expansion stories in record time. And he hasn’t stopped singing his praises and love for the game. So much so he has on multiple occasions thought about delaying his retirement. In hopes to one day collab with Yoshi P on a project or even FFXIV. FFXIV seems to have rekindled a old passion in Sakaguchi, for FF. He truly respects the work being done on FFXIV and FFXVI. Seeing how FFXIV has given Sakaguchi some new found inspiration. Do you guys think we would ever see a collaboration between Square and Sakaguchi? And for you Mike, does hearing about Sakaguchi’s enthusiasm for the game get you excited about eventually tackling FFXIV; for your FF review series? Thanks for all the hard work you guys put in. Two quick questions, if I may? First question, what made Casen interested in languages? I am very interested in languages and would like to know if Casen has any secrets to learning languages/linguistics. Second question, since you gentlemen are both interested in psychology, what are your thoughts on Dr. Jordan Peterson with regards to psychology? I personally find him fascinating and very insightful.

How do you guys go about taking/keeping/referencing notes? Do you pause as you go along and jot ideas down, do you think back at the end of a play session, or something else entirely? Do you handwrite notes or use some sort of digital method? For example, I love being able to search all my notes for keywords since I went digital. I also love being able to quickly and easily restructure my notes in the digital format. However, I know others retain knowledge better using other methods.
