Which Game Should We Cover Next On The Podcast?

It might be a long shot, but you guys should consider playing and analyzing Enderal, a mod for Skyrim. It has its own independent story that is unrelated to The Elder Scrolls, and I find the story is one of the best I've experienced in video games, nearly as good as even Xenogears.

I agree completely. The end made it warrant a sequel, and the illustrations during the oharmon pain Made me imagening a larger world to Explore with Ashley. If RA decide to cover that game in the Future I Would be very thrilled. A remaster or re-release would be Nice. The graphics are so stylized they would probably hold up if upressed.

Vagrant Story is one of the best games I have ever played. Absolute gem. Such good aesthetic, atmosphere, dialogue, music, story... My go to reccomendation everytime.

Vagrant Story or Terranigma would be interesting too. Two gems. I found rumors that some of the people involved in creating Terranigma are lobbying for a re-release of the game or a remake. Hope they will get recognition for it. Their time is due.

I have been feeling a little guilty for my FFT vote myself. Especially since the vote is so close. At the very least, these options are all narratively smaller in scope than Xenogears. If you don't grind and unlock all the crazy cross classing options, FFT is actually kinda short.

So when are we covering the Witcher?

I kinda feel bad voting for FFT because I know all those FFX fans that have been waiting a while for their shot to have it discussed.

This is a tough choice to make. All three games are fantastic and deserve to be covered. As much as I love FFVI, I'm going to vote for FFT because it means discussing Matsuno's career and work. Plus, the plot deserves an in-depth, plot point by plot point analysis. You guys keep delivering! So excited for this.

Finished FFX for the first time about 5-6 years ago (even beat that damn chocobo trainer in the race lol). Not far enough removed to play it again with a story focus. Still have not finished FF6’s final dungeon even though I have been very far into the game many times (that final dungeon intimidates me with needing multiple strong parties). I haven’t played Tactics since the one time I beat it like over 15 years ago and barely remember the story so that’s the vote for me. With the strong endorsement the script got during the Xenogears podcast, it’s almost a given I have to revisit this now.

I'd love to do FFT, I had started it before but didn't get far so hoping to be able to get into it with you all.

As Ryan said, the GBA and DS versions are sequels--but in name only. The stories aren't connected between the original and those GBA and DS games. Also, we'll probably discuss both the PS1 and PSP/Mobile versions.

The GBA and DS games are spinoffs: Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 1 and 2. There was a remaster of the original, though, on the PSP (and now mobile) called Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions.

This might be a good reason for me to finally play fft. I assume you guys are covering the ps1 version, does anyone know is the gba game a remake or a sequel?
