2022-01-25 22:55:17 +0000 UTCBest of both worlds seems to be the way to go. It doesn't have to be either or. :)
2022-01-25 06:04:15 +0000 UTCAs so many others have already said, I'm very interested in the analysis format but would like a tighter Q&A either every few months or at the beginning/end of the monthly analyses.

2022-01-24 19:28:10 +0000 UTCAnalysis with a few questions answered at the end sounds like an excellent development.
2022-01-24 17:59:43 +0000 UTCNot to add a fourth option, but would you guys be interested in doing longer analysis style pods based off of some questions submitted? Obviously, to justify that in depth of a pod on one or two questions the questions themselves would need to be more in depth, and we would likely need to write questions to you that are more in the vein of exploring larger themes and such. Maybe it’s something you could do every now and then in tandem with analyzing other games/movies etc, because you likely wouldn’t get questions from us that could fill an entire analysis podcast all the time. But it could be a fun other option to have.
2022-01-24 03:57:53 +0000 UTCi chose analysis, but definitely on the short side. and, if they were multiplayer games, it'd be fun to listen to your guys' thoughts while playing either at the time or in the background (e.g., street of rage, metal slug, streeeeeet fighter, etc.).
2022-01-24 03:15:05 +0000 UTCI like that Patreon podcasts are different from the main channel content, so I'd like the Q&A style to continue. I know I'm in the minority, though.
2022-01-24 02:29:05 +0000 UTCI say go for it. Try new things! Could also keep to the Q&A on odd months and do analysis on the even months, or something like that.
2022-01-24 00:23:50 +0000 UTCI like the idea of analysis type video on different content, or shorter games, etc. but I think some Q&A should still be part of this, since there are usually good questions and it's interesting to get both of your opinions/views on different things. Having a short Q&A at the end of each analysis could work, or you could also alternate, an analysis one month, a longer Q&A the other month (since there would be questions from 2 months to pick from).

2022-01-23 21:24:27 +0000 UTCI voted for the Q&A style to continue. I like the analysis-style podcasts well enough, and I understand that that's what drew a lot of people to your channel (congratulations on the newfound success on that front), but it feels like the Q&A podcasts are the last real vestige of State of the Arc, which was one of my favorite podcasts when it was going. Losing that to hear even more about games I haven't played or w/e would be a real bummer. It looks like the vote is skewing towards more analysis, so I hope you at least keep the short Q&A section around.
