Just an update, this week I've been hard at it rendering locations and models for various scenes and working out the details for the fast-travel/map screen which is a bit of a technical nightmare but essential for the smooth running of the game!
I didn't want to just pluck a map off the internet and I didn't want to hand-draw something as the difference in art styles would be odd and jarring, but I think I've worked out a good idea! You'll use your phone to pull up a taxi app and THAT'S how you get from place to place!
I can render that in DAZ so the animation style will match up with the game play and it should be super easy to navigate between all sorts of locations! Plus unlike a map it's open to change! we can add and delete locations as and when we please! So if for example you've finished working at one place and never need to go there again we can delete it from the app once all missions are finished where-as if we decide to add somewhere new - say you all want some fun at a swimming pool or a yoga class or wherever - we can add any number of locations with ease!
So that's what I've been doing this week! I'll keep you all abreast (hehehe) of the progress again this time next week!
