2019-06-18 07:22:43 +0000 UTCAbout the doll thing. I think they are trying to mimic the doll village in Nagoro. Its an offbeat travel destination where one woman populated her dying town with dolls. Since it became sort of popular other small towns in Japan have copied what she did to drive in some tourism. I went there when I was in Japan a few years ago, its absolutely amazing.
