Profiles and Glossary

Just wanted to show some additional sneak peaks involving a few of the new features I've been working on in the last few weeks.

First....Character profiles! So these are accessible from the main menu - because the love interests get introduced much later in game play than Changeling, I wanted to just give the player a chance to read up on the characters a little before meeting them.

These profiles are based on the ones we released publicly, but have some additional (or slightly different information) here and there. They are much more geared toward giving some insight into how the routes might play out, or what the romantic direction of the character might be.

Another thing we've worked on is an in-game encyclopedia of world building...STUFF. Mostly because there is so much world building that it's hard to really work it all into the story naturally. Doing a sort of compendium of sorts allows us to include hyperlinks where players can read more about a given subject if they want more information.

This is not an "unlockable" thing - it's more like something that some fantasy and science fiction books include at the end. The player can peruse it how they wish rather than worrying about unlocking things at they go.

I wasn't really wanting to add a gameplay mechanic - just an information source.

This entry isn't finished yet, but another thing this lets me do is include pronunciation for some of the words and names that might trip people up otherwise.
