Milestones and popularity

Well, we have our teaser. We have our demo released. That milestone is now under our belt. I wanted to do a post talking about where development for Gilded Shadows goes from here and what you guys can expect with your front row seats to the process!

October, November, and about half of December are going to be writing-focused. In some ways this means there's not going to be that much interesting content to share outside of snippets of content because I'm going to be heavily focusing on getting as much of the story written as I possibly can.

In December is when I intend to move writing to the back burner and start focusing on gearing up for a Kickstarter campaign in February. This means doing a lot of promotional art and trying to get some of the reward related artwork out of the way.

So I'll have a lot more to start showing off to you guys at that point. (I may work on some scattered promo stuff before then when I need a break from writing.) I think I'm going to try to start working on a patreon schedule so updates here aren't as scattered and irregular as they are right now.

I have a couple of art tutorials in mind related to art, and I can definitely show off snippets of writing. I will also be releasing chapter two of the demo to you guys early - once I get the remaining BG for it, and get it all coded. (The rest of the world won't see that until it's much closer to the KS.)

I will continue to do the monthly dev talks on the last Monday of the month (unless I forget and do it on Tuesday...like...this month.) <.<

If there are any things you'd specifically like to see in terms of patreon content, please let me know. Knowing what you *want* is really useful in terms of actually giving that to you.
