Chapter 92: All Things' End vs. Vollständig

Unohana Yachiru’s Reiatsu towered over Yamabuki Haruto’s. To counter her Bankai, Minazuki, he had only one option left.

With no one within a fifteen-mile radius, Haruto could unleash his true form unseen. The surrounding Reishi vibrated, a five-pointed star-shaped halo glowing above his head. Light blue wings of Reishi sprouted from his back, his form resembling a celestial warrior. His Reiatsu surged to a staggering height, rivaling Unohana’s Bankai-enhanced power.

“This is your strongest form, isn’t it?” Unohana asked, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.

“Correct. This is my Vollständig. If you defeat me now, I can’t stop you from razing Seireitei,” Haruto replied, his voice steady. His Zanpakutō glowed as he whispered, “Reversal, Silver Angel.”

Vollständig amplified his Reiatsu and enhanced his innate abilities, particularly his spatial manipulation. In this state, his control over space reached an unparalleled level.

“Be careful!” Haruto’s wings flared, and he vanished, moving faster than Shunpo or Hirenkyaku. His blade pressed against Unohana’s neck in an instant, thrusting with lethal precision.

Unohana dodged, but not fully, a deep gash opening on her neck. The pain only fueled her exhilaration. She swung Minazuki, blood condensing into a razor-sharp edge that sliced through part of Haruto’s Reishi wing. The wing, formed of pure Reishi, regenerated swiftly, barely hindering him.

“Heilig Pfeil!” Haruto unleashed a massive Reishi arrow from the sky. Unohana countered with a single swing, shattering it, then delivered a brutal kick to his stomach. Haruto felt ribs snap, piercing his organs, blood pooling internally.

She fought Kenpachi so gently before his awakening. This kick could kill! Haruto thought, pushing aside a fleeting distraction about Unohana’s attire. “Super-regeneration!” He retreated, his Quincy-Hollow hybrid ability healing his injuries rapidly.

Haruto realized Unohana’s Bankai didn’t destroy physical matter but manipulated cause and effect, rendering standard Reishi attacks useless.

Unohana’s strikes grew wilder, each swing carrying a killing intent like a sea of blood and corpses.

“Space Removal!” Haruto activated his Zanpakutō’s ability, erasing space within a hundred-meter radius. Unohana sensed the danger and evaded with Shunpo.

“Your Zanpakutō’s true power—spatial manipulation. Troublesome,” Unohana said calmly.

Haruto noticed her body decaying under her own Bankai’s influence, yet her Reiatsu grew stronger as the decay spread.

“Spatial Severance!” His blade sliced through space, cutting everything within three hundred meters. In Vollständig, his attack power and range had multiplied tenfold since his time in Hueco Mundo.

Unohana dodged again, her body now a skeletal frame, her Reiatsu peaking. Haruto’s Reishi wings devoured ambient Reishi, boosting his own power.

Her silence spoke volumes—she intended to end this in one strike. Haruto’s trump cards were nearly spent, but he trusted Yamamoto would intervene if he fell.

“Hollowfication!” Haruto swiped his hand across his face, a Hollow mask forming. He infused all his Reiatsu into his Zanpakutō, blending Shinigami, Quincy, and Hollow powers. A Cero formed on his blade, pulsating with destructive energy.

Unohana condensed her blood sea onto Minazuki’s blade, her Reiatsu a crimson inferno.

Victory hinged on this clash. They charged at maximum speed, white and red Reiatsu colliding in a cataclysmic explosion that pierced the heavens.

The shockwave reached fifteen miles, knocking weaker Shinigami unconscious. Only captain-level fighters withstood the storm. Everything in its path turned to ruins.

Fortunately, the area had been evacuated, sparing the nobles from annihilation.

As the chaos subsided, Haruto and Unohana stood locked together, blades piercing each other’s abdomens in a near-embrace.

Unohana’s Bankai faded, her flesh returning. Haruto’s blade had pierced her abdomen, the tip protruding from her back. Her blade mirrored his, buried in his stomach.

They held the stalemate.

“What a perfect battle,” Unohana said, her voice reverting to its gentle calm. She withdrew her blade, letting it fall.

Haruto’s abdomen bled profusely, but he remained composed. He pulled his blade free. Unohana smiled, satisfied, and closed her eyes, collapsing backward. Haruto caught her, preventing her fall.

“What a dangerous fight,” Haruto muttered, glancing at his wound. His Reiatsu was depleted, forcing him out of Vollständig. His regeneration healed the injury in seconds.

In that final strike, both could have died. Unohana’s blade nearly triggered her Bankai’s decay, but Haruto’s Blut Vene and Hierro—Quincy and Hollow defenses—protected him. Had she activated her ability, his organs would have rotted beyond regeneration.

Haruto had aimed for Unohana’s heart but shifted his blade two inches to her abdomen, ensuring mutual survival.

As Unohana’s life ebbed, Haruto placed his hands on her wound, channeling Kaido. A warm glow stemmed the bleeding, easing her pain. She opened her eyes, meeting his gaze.
