I first started watching RWBY shortly before the end of Volume 3, and I binge-watched the first two seasons without really paying attention to the music other than to rock out it a little. But I didn't listen to the lyrics. Then I watched this episode, and in the exact moment Mercury and Yatsuhashi start fighting in the geyser field, I heard the lyrics loud and clear and suddenly had an epiphany about Mercury's background and character (which be born out later in the volume). I then went back and relistened to the soundtracks. So this episode will always have a special place in my heart.
