Feedback Needed - Stretch Goals for KS
Added 2019-12-01 22:40:53 +0000 UTCHey everyone! So we're in the midst of planning for our eventual Kickstarter in addition to everything else. And one frequent point of discussion is the stretch goals for additional love interests.
I want to explain how things are set up and get some feedback.
Currently, our highest tier will include the ability to create a new love interest. This can be someone from a list of potential characters I have.
Or it could be a completely new character made from scratch.
In addition to that, we currently have two love interests as stretch goals.
SO...in total, right now, the Kickstarter does allow for three additional love interests. Two are explicitly defined. And the third is the backer's choice.
The problem is that...
There are three specific characters that are potential love interests, and it's difficult to judge which of them would be most successful as stretch goals.
So we wanted to have you guys vote on which characters you find most interesting as potential love interests.
NOTE: this poll is not the deciding factor and we may do a broader poll of the community as well. I just specifically wanted to see where our patrons stand first.
Anyway, vote below and let us know which potential routes you're more interested in! We may try to get more feedback on this subject going forward as well.

2019-12-02 08:22:16 +0000 UTCReuben is really, really nice. I feel like his route has the potential to be pretty dramatic given what I think it would end up dealing with plot-wise. But there wouldn't be much relationship drama most likely.

Sasaki is my obvious choice, Rory - I like his potential, I wanna know what made him go off the rails and help him get back on them, and it smells like his route would be more dramatic than Reuben's. Give me the dramaaaa!

2019-12-02 02:18:56 +0000 UTCSarah - have you played the most updated version of the Gilded Shadow demo? Rory is "Fountain guy" and Reuben appears (And has a fairly long scene) in Chapter Two. Sasaki is the only character who does not appear in the current demo. OwO

2019-12-02 01:28:20 +0000 UTCI think that the votes will always be skewed in favour of Rory and Reuben because Sasaki doesn't appear in the game so far and people can't really judge how they'd like him. Only people on Discord have seen snippets of him. And not everyone saw them. Maybe I should have posted some of them here. My main concern with Rory is coming up with an interesting plot for him. I might be able to but...idk. I guess this highlights that I definitely need to come up with a clear plot scenario before I solidify any plans for these guys.

I'm most interested in Reuben, of course, but I'm really curious about Rory's circumstances and what a romance route for him would be like. As for Sasaki, he's also really interesting, and would be a really fun love interest, I'm sure (not least because of how much certain tsunderes would screech over him on the Discord server π)! However, there are already 3 Endgame affiliated LI's so I'd prefer to see routes for characters outside the organisation.
