What I am Working On Today - a sneak peek

Hey everyone! Just wanted to do a quick post to show you all what I'm working on this week. I am struggling with a scene in Caissa's route so I'm taking a short break from writing to do other things.

One of these things I've already shown some people but the others are new.

Starting with the top -

I've been playing around a little bit with Sasaki's design. Something about his colouring has felt off to me for a while. I've played with his hair colour a lot - keeping it within the blonde spectrum but going from an ashy blonde to platinum, to wheat blonde, and back again. Somehow, I kept gravitating back to this really pale blonde that isn't really white and isn't too yellow. I also played around a lot with his eyes and have changed their colour as well. As of now, I think this is what I'm going to go with.

(as a side note, I also thought about dark-haired Sasaki but it just doesn't feel right. He looks good as a redhead but kind of looks like 707 from Mystic Messenger so I ruled it out).

In other news...Reuben. I wanted to give him a messy hairstyle because while it'll never get shown if he doesn't get his own route, I will definitely use it if he does. And while working on that, I ended up giving him the Esper eye-glow because even if I don't have him get a permanent power-up in the game, he's undoubtedly going to have a few spikes where he exhibits psi.

Also, I just like making all the characters angry and glowy. It's fun! OwO

Anyway, I love his dorky, messy-haired smile best, though. SO YEAH. Just thought I'd share these as a little, fun, quickie post! Hope you enjoyed!
