A girl, a poncho, and some self-care.

Heya,

Many of you have reached out since my recent Instagram post struggling with food & health issues. The kind words and support have been beyond my expectations. I can't thank you enough for your support, and sharing your stories with me.

I took some time in July to backpack the Utah mountains and focus on my health. It's way easier to take a break from YouTube when you have no internet signal, and there are bears. And wildflowers. DO YOU SEE ALL THOSE FLOWERS?! It's so important to take time to breathe in the fresh air and check in with your bad self.

What are some of the ways you destress and take care of your physical and mental health? (asking so I can steal your life hacks.)

A girl, a poncho, and some self-care.

Coincidence! I just took a 2 week vacation in August driving all over the Rockies (Utah & Colorado) with my dog. Very relaxing to see all the mountains, trees, flowers, & grass.

I'm not into dogs

Adele

I love all these recommendations! Lots of dog lovers here :)

Not sure what you're exactly going through, but I deleted Twitter from my phone because it was just an abyss of negative energy. I don't know if that's a feasible approach for you as a social media person though. Either way I hope you find your balance and positive energy and happiness and do what brings you joy and excitement! :)

I always find peace in Nature.

Thanks, (mountain) fresh air yes! Also yoga, meditation, martial arts, music.

It looks beautiful! Take the time you need, because you happy and healthy is what we need too!

Breaks are top priority.... and after that, I would be supportive of your videos, no matter what the exact content is. You're awesome. :)

Time away from social media. In-person social gatherings. Long drives by myself where I can sing my brains out and no one will hear. Dogs. :)

I'm glad you are feeling better

Pacing myself, seeking stability and comfort, working for good sleep. No tobacco, drugs, or alcohol. Watching cool videos on YouTube. Walking in the park. Social connection. Pizza.

Also, we should treat our brains like a muscle, not a machine. Muscles and brains both need rest periods to recover from a work out and get stronger. Take care of yourself and we look forward to seeing you again when you are ready.
