June 2025 -- What Should I Write Next?

Here we are, somehow most of the way through June already!

Up top, I wanted to make sure you saw the forthcoming pricing change I posted about yesterday. TLDR: Consider staying subscribed as a Reader and lock in your $3/mo rate, because starting in July it's going to go up to $5/mo for new subscribers.

Second, so you're aware, I'm heading out on vacation later this week (someplace with sand, blessedly.) I return at the end of the month!

I've got posts scheduled to go up regularly while I'm out, so you shouldn't notice any disruption or delays unless something's gone horribly wrong!

I'll be keeping an eye on things but may be less active responding to comments and the like; apologies if I'm a bit slow. I'll be doing some vacation-writing, so there shouldn't be any lapse in content when I return, either.

So far, this month, I've posted:

• The Thaumaturge, Chapter 12

• The Masseuse Remastered, Chapters 14-20 (getting near to the conclusion(s), now!)

• Speedrunner 0.1

Coming up in the second half of the month:

• The Thaumaturge, Chapter 13 (and an accompanying poll)

• The Thaumaturge Reflection/Q&A (this isn't the end of the series, but I think it's a logical moment for a little reflection post)

• Speedrunner 0.2

• Speedrunner 0.25 (a minipost, with some game mechanics and an accompanying poll on some character development choices!)

• A Hospital Stay, Part 7

I want to thank folks for the warm reception on Speedrunner. It feels very experimental -- maybe too experimental for the smut-with-a-plot I write -- but I'm gonna give it a go. Welcome continued feedback as things get more convoluted.

For July, my plan is roughly as follows:

• The Thaumaturge, Chapter 14

• Speedrunner 0.3

• A Hospital Stay, Part 8 (the finale, at least as I've currently envisioned it; still doing a little work on part 7 so it may go to 9 parts if that seems to make more sense, for some reason.)

With that in mind, there's one open slot for you all to vote on.

A few notes:

My longer-range plan, once A Hospital Stay is finished, is to turn at least some of my writing time to finishing the Therapist. It's a little further away from being done than A Hospital Stay is, but I'd like to get it done over the next few months; that'll start in August if it's not voted on in this poll.

I'm not quite ready to do a full blown next-campaign for Dungeon Mistress. But if you'd like to see more from those characters sooner, my plan is that Liz is going to take an interesting approach to character creation. So there's an option in there for that.

I also pulled in the top-voted stand-alone story in the last poll that had them. (Don't worry, the other stand-alone ideas will make reappearances in future polls, this is just a lot of options already.)

And, of course, I'm always happy to put more words towards one of the ongoing series.

As usual, all of this is probably getting written eventually, you're just helping me answer the question...what should I write next?
