Here's how these polls will work: every so often, when there's some significant choice in the story for our hero Matt, I will put it to you all, the readers. Obviously, not every choice makes sense for that; I want them to feel consequential but I've also got, y'know, a story in mind to tell.

I'm expecting low participation initially, but these polls will be open to free members, so I'm hoping it'll rise over time.

This poll is open for 10ish days; future ones may be open for more or less time as I fine-tune this approach. This is obviously experimental, so I'll welcome your feedback.

Also, these polls may contain spoilers in the future! It's pretty modest this time, but make sure you read the chapters before reading the poll if you care about that sort of thing.

And with all that said, without further ado, our first fork in the road:

Who are all these women? How and why do they know each other? What's a thaumaturge? Will Matt ever actually last long enough to undress a woman?

Matt, obviously, wants the answers to these questions, and more. Who do you think he should try to get more information from?

To be clear, all three characters will continue to recur in the story. You're choosing for now, not forever. :)
