Feb '25 recap, March '25 plans

Welcome to March! Sorry for the spam of posts to your feed all at once, but I didn't want to delay getting today's story out, and it's the first weekday of the month, so I didn't want to delay my March update post either.

Writing Update

In February, I published:

That's ~26k published words in February.

I also wrote -- though it's not publicly available yet -- another sponsored story (which may get released in March at some point; more on my plans for releases moving forward below.)

In March, my plan is to release - not necessarily in this order:

It's an ambitious schedule but I'm thinking it's doable, especially since I've got one story ready to release already if I get a little behind.

I especially want to thank the folks who have signed up for -- or expressed interest in -- the Story Sponsor tier. You all have some great ideas, it's been super fun to bring them to life, and the support makes a big difference. I'm leaving it limited at 2 slots for March again, but may open it up to a third slot for April; we'll see.

Release Schedule and Membership Updates

I've been a bit uneven in terms of when I've released things; I'm told it's a Best Practice to have a consistent release schedule, so I'm looking to firm things up a bit moving forward. My plan is to release one story a week, likely on Mondays, at least for now. (March has five Mondays in it -- hence the ambitious calendar for this month, and the story released earlier today!)

I typically write slightly more one story a week. This will let me slowly build up a bit of a release backlog, which will be helpful, because...

One of the things I'm considering is how to add more value and incentives for those who actually pay to join at the Reader tier. Advance access to releases/new chapters seems like a pretty typical model, and so my plan is to start offering some advance releases in the relatively near future, I just need to get a little more of a backlog built up.

I am also -- somehow, impossibly -- up to nearly 150 members total. Thank you all for being here.

Also, thanks to everybody who chimed in on the poll. At least among those who responded it looks like a 70/30ish split between Literotica and Reddit, which is a slightly higher proportion from Reddit than I would've expected, and is good to know; I've been prioritizing that channel a bit less and will probably work on getting a few more things up there this month.

Happy March,

--JF
