Another late release this week, sorry about that. We have plans in place so that this will stop happening, trust us. The GOOD NEWS is that Questiary now delivers everything in full-colour.

"After the war ended in a bitter stalemate, many mercenary companies, especially the Broken Blade, found that they did not want to leave their warring way of life behind, and certainly not the profits it brought. So, instead of disbanding, the Broken Blade persisted. But with no great war to fight in, opportunities were limited to smaller and less frequent conflicts. To support the swelled growth of the company that occurred during the War of Wills, the Broken Blade turned to racketeering and raiding when they weren’t off fighting in some neighboring country. If local nobles or governments refused to pay for their “protection,” the Broken Blade would cleave down the countryside, looting and raiding farmsteads and villages to feed their hunger both for food and for bloodshed."

Our answer is yes because a) its cooler b) lets say his shield is strapped to his arm, which lets him get away with it.
2022-06-01 15:11:28 +0000 UTCIs Boulderheard allowed to grapple if he has a mace & shield equipped? I thought he would need a free hand to do so, but Grappling Strike says he can mace & grapple in the same turn?

2022-06-01 07:02:03 +0000 UTCWe still stayed relatively lower CR on this one (1-4 for the non-boss blocks), but we'll be making monsters for a while and so it'll soon be time for some really jacked-up knights and nobles ;)
2022-06-01 00:46:53 +0000 UTCYess! Love me more generic npc stat blocks. A bit of variety for random encounters is always a good thing. Specially mid to higher cr. Only so many more noble/spy you can throw at tier 2-3 pcs.
